Is Google eSignature free?

Google eSignature is included with Google Workspace Business Standard and higher plans, not with free personal Gmail or the entry Business Starter tier. If your business pays for one of those plans, you already have it; the feature lives inside Google Docs and Drive.

DocuSign, the tool people usually compare, is not really free either. Its free account only lets you sign documents others send. Sending for signature requires a paid plan after the trial.

For occasional use there are genuinely free routes: several e-signature tools have limited free tiers, and simple typed or drawn signatures are legally valid for most business documents in the US under the E-SIGN Act. The signature method matters less than the document being clear about what was agreed.
